Patch July 26, 2005

Bug Fixes:

  1. A bug causing Clan relic cannot be put into clan alliance relic vault during war has been fixed.
  2. A bug where Clan relic reverts back to original clan vault by system but Clan members not able to gain back clan relic and town bonus has been fixed. Now, after the system revert clan relic back to the vault, the clan relic and town bonus will be added back through hourly check.
  3. UA power - Chi deflects all 's constant physical damage effect now stacks with Staff power - punish the villain
  4. Maximum Hit Point and Chi Point now capped at 65535 to fix the problem where Max HP/CP get overflowed when equipped with +Max. HP/CP items.
  5. Sprint skills bug that allowed player to exploit using wilderness zoning point.
  6. A bug causing mouse over description at menu option not showing correctly has been fixed.
  7. Stronghold Assault event bug that does not allow the attacker to end the war after taking relic back to starting point has been fixed
  8. Change weather type of Friendly War Event indoor to no raining to avoid leaking issue.
  9. Fix Dragon boat event string to correct the partial set effects.
  10. Typo for July 19th patch note was fixed (Big Fixes -> Bug Fixes)


Patch July 19, 2005

Bug Fixes:

  1. Fix Power Core of Fire's Blind effect description.
  2. Fix Power Rumble of Thunder's Stun effect description.

Feature Changes

  1. New slash commands added. /rating and /cl rating to show PC's clan rating with 5 player clans.
    Faction rating:
    1 - 50 String shown : Hostile
    51 - 99 String shown : Unfriendly
    100 - 120 String shown : Neutral
    121 - 180 String shown : Friendly
    181 - 200 String shown : Helpful
  2. Added a pop up window to allow PC to exit Tutorial level immediately when new player enter the tutorial level.
  3. Added an option to turn on/off Sprint special effect.
  4. Added an option to adjust Camera Turn speed in both mouse mode and keyboard mode.


Patch July 03, 2005

Bug Fixes:

  1. Spelling mistake for the word "Upgrade" rectified in the Clan Stronghold Upgrade UI.
  2. Clan/Clan Hall list will now open up correctly from the Community Menu. Note: the option "Clan" has been changed to "Clan Info"
  3. Ultimate Mask effect has been corrected to do the following: +10 to all attributes and 5% to Attack Rating.
  4. Powers Weaken the Body and Cleanse the Body are now stackable.
  5. Powers Be As the Flame and Flame's Glory are now stackable.
  6. Quest script functions are not able to remove quest items from mouse pointer. This has been rectified.
  7. Clan leader can now demote clan ministers to clan master or senior.
  8. The problem with multiple clan leaders has been rectified.
  9. When players PK points are reduced to a certain value, the system messages to inform players that they no longer suffer from certain penalties are bugged. This has been rectified.
  10. AOE damage was still checking against the previous PK penalty points. This has been adjusted accordingly
  11. Slow effect no longer overrides entangle effect.
  12. Legendary item glow will no longer disappear when players pick up loot.
  13. Chinese descriptions for clan upgrades added.


Patch March 29, 2005

Bug Fixes:

  1. Bow powers Fear the Dragon and Dragon’s Bite will now stack with each other.
  2. Monk in Hong Wan village can now trade Hero Items with players.
  3. The dialog for Cripple Stick Vengeance has been modified to give a clearer description of the quest.
  4. Mask of Frostbite will now add the following attributes: Cold Resist +35, Cold Damage +30-50 and DR+3%.
  5. Righteous Greaves will now add +10 to all attributes as stated in its description.
  6. Defender will now add the following attributes; DR+20%, Physical Resist +5 and Cold Resist +10.
  7. Clan Town Guard Captain has been renamed Clan Guard Captain.
  8. Reinforced Jerkin is enabled to allow players to obtain them via quest.
  9. Several rare physical resist items and instant healing potions in Land of Sandy Stone have been removed and replaced with more suitable items.
  10. Town Guard Captains and Clan Guard Captains will now attack players with PK value of 111 on sight.
  11. Master Ku Ye’s students resistance points were wrongly allocated. This has been rectified.
  12. Sand Warrior in Bat Clan stronghold appeared as a stone monument. The correct NPC model will now spawn on that spot instead.

Feature Changes

  1. Players accidentally killing each other in duel
    There are incidences where players accidentally killed their opponents when a duel ended. This happens when a player activates a power on the opponent and before that power can manifest, the duel ended. The power then damages the opponent resulting in the player killing the opponent outside of a duel and receiving PK penalty. To circumvent this, both the duelist will now be made invulnerable to each other after their dueling for 10 seconds. All other players outside of the duel will remain as usual.
  2. Capping XP gained upon reaching level 200
    Players who have reached the level cap of 200 are still accumulating XP even though they can no longer advance in their level. A cap has been put in place to prevent the XP from accumulating further after reaching level 200. Any players who have reached the maximum level and gain XP beyond this level will have their XP reset to 1159015801 which is equivalent to a level 200 XP.

  5. Aerial warning of town under attack
    Non-clan players does not know when a town is being taken over outside of total war because currently only clan members are warned when the town is attacked. As a result, anyone remaining in the town when it is being taken over will suffer the PK penalty. To prevent this, a message will now be broadcasted to all players in the scene where the town is located to warn them of the town takeover.
  6. All competitive arenas have been activated. Previously only 8 were activated.

Patch March 7th, 2005

Pay-to-play patch!

Bug Fixes:

  1. The sitting position of NPC Yue Hao is changed to face forward.
  2. Names of all clan guards in clan stronghold has been changed to read as ‘Clan Guard’ instead of ‘Clan Town Guard’.
  3. Quest NPC Fire Evil collision box was place too far away from NPC spawn point resulting in players unable to trigger the NPC to spawn. The NPC collision box has been relocated to solve this.
  4. Item Defender now shows appropriate stats.
  5. Item Righteous Greaves modified to work for appropriate levels.
  6. Level 70 bow power, Quick Steps will now stack with other bow buff powers.
  7. Effects for many armors have been fixed to match their descriptions.

Saber power, Heart of the Sun and Bow power, Fury of the Phoenix will now stack with each other.

Patch March 1st, 2005

Bug Fixes:
In the Land of Sandy Stone, after a Town Takeover, the town flags does not change to reflect the new owner. With this fix, the flags will change accordingly.

Patch - Febuary 24th, 2005

Bug Fixes:
Lure Radius of High Level Mobs

A lure radius range has been added to high level mobs to prevent them from being lured away from the original spawn points.

Mobs in Unreachable Areas

The spawn points of some mobs have been relocated to prevent them from walking to and appearing in areas unreachable by players. This applies to the rocky terrain in the eastern part of Nan Chang district.

Re-spawn location for stuck characters

In Phoenix Creek Village , there are some scene holes that will get players stuck and re-spawn them at the clan headquarters. The bind point of the clan headquarters has been removed and stuck characters will now re-spawn at the nearest zoning point.

Patch Febuary 16th, 2005

Merchants will no longer give out event hints once the event is deactivated.

Experience points rewarded for Nan An tasks have been reduced. Previously the experience points rewarded is too high and is exploited by high level players.
